To become a CEO, you go to a business school and invest time and money learning the ropes over several semesters and through hard work. Choose a business that tunes perfectly to your strengths and knowledge base. Acquire specific knowledge on the chosen business, understand possible roadblocks and the tools to overcome them. Continue with the process of learning until you can position yourself as an expert.
2. Solving the jigsaw puzzle
During the initial days, researching your online business can appear like a jigsaw puzzle. Acquiring clients, identifying payment options, managing deliveries, customer service, trouble shooting, complaint management, communication etc are different components of your business. Only when you put these components in their respective slots will a successful business emerge.

For every niche, for every business, there are experts around. Your internet business research will receive a shot in the arm when you identify experts to be your mentors. The social media offers a range of options to identify your mentors and work with them. Facebook, Forums, Twitter etc. are wonderful tools to help you in this direction.
